FULL DESIGN AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICE

Pricing can be based on a fixed rate, a percentage of total project spend (for large renovations), or an hourly/daily rate. Whilst this process is adaptable to your needs it typically includes the following four phases.

Phase 1: Consultation & Proposal

I will meet with you to talk through your project in detail, this includes a bespoke presentation to establish your design requirements. Next I will conduct a full site survey where I take measurements and photos ensuring I capture all necessary information to form the brief. I will then put the full scope and requirements of the project into a written brief.

Once the brief is agreed, I propose an approach and design direction including inspirational references, concept boards, plans/drawings, as well as suggested timings, and a cost estimate.

Phase 2: Detailed Design & Sourcing

Following approval, the next stage gets into the detail – I will produce 2D scale floor plans, mood boards, colour schemes and if required 3D modelling to bring the concept to life.

The output of this stage will be the final design, schedule of works and a full budget for sign off.

We then finalise fixtures, furnishings and equipment (FFE), source items and finalise trade contracts.  All contractor briefings are issued in writing and signed off by all involved.

Phase 3: Implementation

I will work closely with contractors during the design period and meet with them on-site during installation as and when required.  I have a number of trades/contractors who I would happily recommend, or if you have already chosen an architect, builder or any trade then I am happy to form new collaborative partnerships.

Detailed briefing documents and installation schedules are issued to all involved and copied to the client before work is started.

Throughout I monitor progress, track timelines and update budgets to ensure work stays on track. I schedule regular client update meetings as part of this process. 

Importantly, I remain flexible should challenges occur and always consider the impact on the client to make the whole process as easy for you as it possibly can be.

Phase 4: Installation & Styling

Final placement of all elements including furnishings, fixtures, furniture, art and accessories - basically all the finishing touches that truly bring your design to life – this is my absolute favourite part.
